This major player in the online market is looking for an experienced Account Manager to drive revenue to their top websites.
Key Responsibilities will be;
Identify and make contact with key contacts at all levels from a prescribed set of advertising agencies and some clients, maintaining a high level of contact via the telephone, meetings and attending corporate events.
Generate creative proposals for advertising & sponsorship to generate added value revenue streams based on market knowledge and achieving the client`s advertising requirements.
Make full use of your colleagues experience working across the sales, business development and network operations teams, to identify and implement the most relevant sales opportunities available to advertisers.
Achieve sales target set by your manager considering not only revenue but also yield and margin of business.
Devise a sales strategy to ensure effective planning and preparation for your advertising agency portfolio & category sector.
Plan at least five meetings each week, making best use of time out of the office. Make full use of laptop to demonstrate the range of interactive solutions to individuals and group presentations. Set goals you wish to achieve for every meeting you attend.
Develop sales material specific to vertical channel sales.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of their position vis-а-vis its competitors in various markets.
Experience required;
In online plus offline media sales experience preferred although not essential. Must show proven track record of sales achievements during career to date
Excellent negotiation & presentation skills
Experience of dealing with clients & agencies at all levels
Self-motivated and tenacious
Practical experience of single site*branded media sales is a must
Some experience of working with clients direct
Experienced in working on non standard packages i.e. advertorials*sponsorship
Ability to work under pressure & show attention to detail
Through understanding of all pricing metrics used online. Eg cpm, cpc, cpl and sponsorship deals
